The DEWALT DXL3010-04 4 ft. extra heavy-duty fiberglass stepladder with a 300 lbs. load capacity includes many practical benefits. One key feature of DEWALT fiberglass step ladders is the mega step, designed to provide 25% more standing surface on useable steps. Handy Top is designed with innovative features to improve the users performance when working electrical, utility, heavy construction and residential jobs. The top includes a magnetic tray, hardware tray, curved ergonomic front, drill and tool slots, paint bucket holder and a pipe or 2 in. x 4 in. holder to increase productivity. The DEWALT step ladder is manufactured with impact absorbing bottom bracing, designed to absorb the abuse from heavy-duty users. It also includes a boot style shoe that is non-marring, slip-resistant extra wide foot pad and gives added protection to the outside lower ladder rail. Due to the double rivet step construction, each step has an angle brace and is secured with 6 large headed, semi tubular steel rivets for maximum strength, 30% greater shear strength than solid aluminum rivets. The nonconductive full channel rails are covered with a polyester veil for years of service without fiber prominence or blooming when prolonged exposure to elements is necessary. The heavy-duty inside spreader braces are pinch resistant and extra thick spreader braces located inside of fiberglass rails help protect braces from getting hooked or abused in transit.
